This week’s post is a video of my work on the setting for the Phoenix sketch. In the video I explain how I use Photoshop’s Masked Layers to ink my comic. Masked Layers are a bit of a mind-bender, but hopefully I managed to make it make sense, haha.

This week’s page is slightly delayed, but will be up later today. In the meantime, here is an iguana photo I took at a zoo. I am going to be using iguana scales as a reference for some armor types later on.

Happy Thanksgiving! I was going to draw Ace catching a turkey, but Pelkern doesn’t have much in the way of feathered creatures. (Nor would they celebrate a USA holiday, if we’re being technical). Pelkern does have boars, though, so here is Ace getting ready to spear a boar for a feast. : D
